When you help a woman, you help her children, extended family, community and society. When you help girls grow up and reach their full potential, you change the world. Our Annual Luncheon is a celebration of making a difference for women and girls throughout Fairfield County.
This highly-anticipated annual event attracts more than 800 enthusiastic friends and supporters from Connecticut and beyond. They celebrate making an important difference for thousands of women and girls throughout Fairfield County, learn about the Fund’s work, and hear from women who have benefited from their support. Keynote speakers have included the late Dr. Maya Angelou, Geena Davis, Dr. Madeleine Albright, Soledad O’Brien, Gloria Steinem, and Abby Wambach.
Our 2017 Luncheon is Thursday, April 20 and features Andrea Jung, former CEO of Avon Products (and President & CEO Grameen America) who is a role model and trailblazer for women, as our keynote speaker.

Net proceeds from the Luncheon will support the Family Economic Security Program (FESP) at Housatonic Community College. Built on the successful pilot program at Norwalk Community College, FESP will ensure that 400 low-income students, over a four-year period, persist, graduate and move into family-sustaining employment.
